After a bit of a surge of new restaurant openings in Bunbury there were still a couple I hadn’t gotten to and after hearing lots of good things about Tokyo Jacks it was high on my list when the next opportunity arose. A dinner out with good friends was the perfect opportunity to stuff my face with gyoza’s!
Pasta. Honey. Wine. A winning combination, all made with love at Barnyard 1978. Barnyard is situated in Yallingup, on the corner of Caves Rd and Canal Rocks Rd and stepping into this beautifully designed, glass walled building, over looking vineyard and beehives, you know you’re in for a good meal. For a winery restaurant located in a prime wine growing region surrounded by plenty of options, Barnyard is a breath of fresh air. While I love a good fancy winery lunch as much as the next person, this place is relaxed and casual (yet classy), friendly and inviting and has a lovely charm about it.
